UE Local 170 Lobby Day ~ Rank-and-File Political Action
On Presidents Day (Monday, February 20), UE Local 170's members and supporters will gather in the Capitol Rotunda to rally and to have our voices heard on issues that affect all state workers and their families. These issues include a cost of living wage increase for state workers and retirees, seniority protections, full funding for WV OSHA, meaningful caseload standards, and stopping privatization.
This is also an opportunity for our members and all public workers to meet with their delegates and senators to lobby for better wages, benefits and working conditions. Your participation at the rally can have a significant impact on your legislators as they go into the legislative session. All state workers, their families, friends and community allies are urged to attend.
